Claire and Carter's first day of school

Claire and Carter ready to start their first day of school.
Claire on her first day of fifth grade. My how fast they grow.

Carter's first day of first grade

Headed to the bus stop for the first day of first grade. It's hard to believe he's that old. It's bittersweet to have my baby in first grade.

Carter's first grade class on the first day of school, with his teacher Mrs. Bass.

Rockies Game

A fun family night out at the Rockies game, despite having to leave early because of thundering, lightning, and rain.

Crash's first real baseball game.
Chase took this picture of Chris and I. I think he did pretty well.
Crash right before we left the game due to the bad weather, and Crash was tired and ready to go too.

Tactical Crash

Crash's only protection from his brother's gas attacks.

Just enjoying the beautiful waterfall from the snow melting.

One of the many elk we saw that day.

"Snow Angels" on a glacier.

Trying to stay warm. It's a lot colder at 12,000 feet.

Over 12,000 feet and we had best views Colorado has to offer

Kindergarten Celebration Program

Carter's Kindergarten Celebration was so cute. All of the kids were flowers, and they sang 4 darling songs.

6th Grade Continuation

Way to go Chase!!! I can't believe my son is going to start 7th grade. Where has the time gone?

Denver Temple

Our annual Primary Temple Trip. It was a beautiful day to visit the temple. We enjoyed being together as a family, and enjoying the peaceful spirit of the temple.

Field Day

Carter pulling with all his might during the tug-of-war.

Mt. Rushmore

One of the many buffalo we saw on our trip.

Chris and I inside Wind Cave.

Claire and Carter inside Wind Cave. Lots of cool rock formations, plus a lot of box work, which looks like spiderwebs.

Crash, Chase, and Claire in Wind Cave. A highlight of the trip for Chase. We saw the natural opening for the cave in the rock, which was the size of a basketball.

The little bear cubs at Bear Country wrestling with eachother.

Bear Country in Rapid City. This bear was right outside our car on "patrol"

Crash's favorite part of Bear Country, the big brown bear bottoms.

This bear was enjoying his view from the tree.

Who do we look like? Maybe a little like the president's on Mt. Rushmore?

What a beautiful family I have.

We made it to Mt. Rushmore, despite all of the rain.

On our drive to Mt. Rushmore we stopped in Guernsy, WY to see the wagon ruts. The Oregon Trail went through here along with the Mormon pioneers. Chris and the kids are standing in the middle of the ruts.

Chase at Ponderosa High School for the 6th grade Hexathlon. He was one of the top 9 boys from his school that was able to go compete in the district wide Hexathlon. Awesome job Chase!!!

Carter's 6th Birthday!! I can't believe he is already 6 that means I'm getting old.

Carter and I went on a field trip to the Butterfly Pavilion on his birthday with his Kindergarten class.
Watery eyes from the smoke from the candle. Carter has the most sensitive eyes.

Claire at her Spring Choir Concert. Way to go Claire!

What were we thinking? We forgot to take pictures of the kids last Sunday in their Easter clothes, so here they are a week late. Hopefully we do better next year.
